Psychiatric evaluation

The initial psychiatric evaluation is the centerpiece of psychiatric treatment. Many people have been misdiagnosed or misinformed about psychiatric illness and ANEW LIFE LLC understands that an accurate diagnosis is the key to formulating a proper treatment plan.  We will also explore all possible etiologies of symptoms, including medical problems, substance use, personality/psychological issues, and environmental, as these require different treatments. 

At the end of your evaluation, ANEW LIFE LLC providers will educate you about your diagnosis and create a collaborative treatment plan.  This may include further medical work up, including ordering blood work, imaging, psychological, neuropsychological, or genetic tests to help clarify the diagnosis or cause of symptoms.  Possible treatments, including psychotherapy and psychotropic medications will be explained, including the possible risks and benefits of each treatment modality.
